Job Description

As a Post-Close Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient completion of real estate transactions. You will be responsible for managing post-closing activities, handling all aspects of the escrow process after the transaction has been finalized. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the escrow process.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze closing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with escrow officers, lenders, and real estate agents, to resolve any post-closing issues.
• Disburse funds to appropriate parties according to established procedures.
• Prepare and submit final settlement statements to all involved parties.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all post-closing transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address any outstanding issues or discrepancies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and address inquiries related to post-closing matters.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in escrow, title, or real estate transactions.
• Strong knowledge of post-closing processes and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in using relevant software and tools. SoftPro experience is a plus.  
• Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
